God meets our Budget needs through our giving. 100% of St. Philip’s mission and ministry is funded as we give God’s Tithe and other financial gifts. (The Tithe is the setting aside of one-tenth of one's income for God as is specifically noted in the Bible. Tithing has been the traditional minimum standard of giving for Christians.)Thank you for supporting the missions and ministries of St. Philip’s through your generous giving. - Linda Bohlen, Finance Minister
January Offering Update (as of 01/26/07) Our Finance Team is preparing a 2007 budget for approval by our Church Council. We will post our monthly budget needs as soon as they are available. Please contact Linda Bohlen if you have any questions. Received to date $28,165
We’re asking every Church Member and regular Guest to participate in Consecration Sunday by attending Morning Worship on January 28. And, our “Light The Night” Dinner Celebration @ 5:30 in our Family Life Center. The dinner will be catered. We will be entertained by special guests Mark Winter, and the Cornerstone Trio. On Sunday morning, you will have the opportunity to complete an “Estimate of Giving,” expressing your financial support to St. Philip’s mission and ministry in 2007. You will make this privately as an act of worship. We want every member of St. Philip’s to attend, even if they choose not to make a specific commitment. We have passed the RSVP deadline for the "Light the Night" Dinner Celebration. If you have not reserved dinner, you may still come and enjoy the entertainment.
