Leading From your Heart

January 4, 2008

About this weekly letter

Christian Leaders lead from our informed hearts.  Each week, I’ll offer encouragement, insight, and information that I believe will be helpful to your leadership ministry.  Please, read and bookmark the links that I’ll give you.  Let me know what you find to be especially useful, as well as additional content that you’d like to receive; and, please, use and share this with those whom you lead in mission and ministry.

2008 Faith gifting campaign

Our annual Faith Gifting Campaign serves to

1. Give members of St. Philip’s the specific focus of strengthening our relationship with Jesus Christ as we begin the new year.

2. Give members of St. Philip’s the specific expression of living all that we are all and that we have as followers of Jesus.

3. Gives members of St. Philip’s the opportunity to make a specific promise of our giving to Jesus through giving to support the mission and ministry that we share in His Name.  This promise is in the form of a Pledge to St. Philip’s annual Budget, placed on the Alter on Sunday, January 27.

4. Gives our Finance Committee a specific tool to use in projecting the amount of monies that will be received this year to fund the work that we have discerned that Christ calls us to be about as His Church.
