Text Box:                   TOGETHER Dr. Dale Schultz, Senior Pastor                                                                                                Caring and comforting                                               On Sunday, morning, we prayed for the victims                                               of an accident that had occurred on Avery                                               Ranch Road in the earliest hours of the day.   Shortly after Noon, we learned that one of our Church Family had been killed.  Robert Ruiz, age 13.   In response to this tragedy, our Family Life Center will be open for our community from 3:30 – 7:00 p.m. tonight (as it was last night) for a time of prayer, remembering, and healing.  Counselors and prayer stations will be available.   As Service of Death and Resurrection celebrating Robert’s life will be Thursday afternoon at 3:00, in the Sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church of Round Rock.  We thank First Church for allowing us the use of their campus in anticipation of the expected attendance.

Text Box: Boy Scout Troop 365 is hosting their 5th Annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 3rd in St. Philips’ Family Life Center  from 7am-11am.  In addition to the breakfast, there will also be a silent auction and bake sale.  Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased at the door or in advance.  For more information, please contact Penny McCredie at penny460@cs.com or 255-6527.

Text Box: St. Philip’s celebrates Mother’s Day on May 11 in a special way.  We need to have everyone share their digital pictures of their moms, and of the mother of their children (jpeg format). We will use them in a thanks-for-mom expression of worship at our 9:30 Service on Mom’s Day.  These need to be in our Office no later than Friday, May 2.  Email your photos to business@stphilipsumc.org. 

Text Box:                                      Calling all Men!  Please join us at                                      Pok-E-Joe's BBQ in the Gattiland                                      shopping center at I-35 and Sam Bass road Monday, April  28, at 6:30 P.M. for our monthly United Methodist Men's meeting.  We will have a short devotional, followed by a great meal.  After dinner we will discuss way we can serve our church and we'll designate where the breakfast profits will go .  If it's your first time to attend, we'll even buy your dinner, so come join us.
