“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7 |

Dear Church Family and Friends,
I am so thankful to be your pastor, and the pastor of the St. Philip's United Methodist Church family at this opportune time. Ours is an exciting church with a great vision for the future!
After prayerful study and planning, we are committed to respond to the growth that God is giving us. In addition to renovating portions of our present facilities, we hope to acquire the property adjacent to our campus. The building on this site will provide educational, fellowship, and ministry facilities which will be of great benefit to each of us in the church family. Even more important, this new Ministry Center will provide facilities through which we can reach more people for Christ.
"Prayer is the Key” has been chosen as the title for our campaign to raise money for the new Center. We are asking every family in the church to pray about a special, over and above regular giving, three-year pledge. In this way, we can all have a part in acquiring the new Center.
Please join me in praying for the Holy Spirit's leadership during these challenging days. I know the church is a blessing in your life, as it is mine. I pray for God's richest blessings of love, joy and peace to be yours! I am grateful for your prayerful support. If we can serve you in a specific way, please let us know. in Christ, Dale Schultz, D. Min. Pastor
P.S. Please join me in daily praying the prayer below! Prayer is the Key!!!
Most Gracious Heavenly Father, We praise you for the mighty work that you have done in and through St. Philip’s United Methodist Church! We acknowledge that it is by your power and grace that you have brought us to this place in our earthly journey as a church family. Thank you for directing our steps as we grow. We confess that we might not always do the things you want us to in order to share your love with others, and we seek the forgiveness you offer so freely. Now we pray for a time of renewal. Transform our hearts and minds to be your faithful people. Show us how to use our gifts, talents, and resources in ways that will glorify you. May the renewing of your holy place be an outward and visible sign of new life within our hearts. Help us, by your grace, to do your will as a blessing for many in the years to come. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
