WEDDING POLICIES

Introduction

St. Philip's has a beautiful historical sanctuary built in 1908. Members moved it from Turnersville to its present location in Brushy Creek and restored it in 1987. Because of its historical nature, beauty, antique pipe organ, and original bell tower, we host many weddings each year. We look forward to hosting the most important celebration in your life...your wedding.

Reservations

To make reservations and to get more information, please call the church office at (512) 244-2175. A $50 non-refundable deposit must accompany your reservation (Prices are subject to change.)

OUR COMPLETE WEDDING POLICIES

The Wedding Service

The minister of St. Philip's will conduct all wedding services. The contemporary wedding "A Service of Christian Marriage" will be used for all weddings. You can examine this wedding service during your consultation with the minister.

Wedding Rehearsals

The rehearsal will normally be held the night before the wedding. St. Philip's minister will be responsible for directing the rehearsal. The time and date of your rehearsal will be set during your consultation with the minister.

Music

During the wedding ceremony, only the use of Christian music will be allowed. If the use of a popular song is desired, it may be used before or after the service.

Wedding Reception

Scheduling receptions in the Children’s Center or Family Life Center can be done through the church office. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the church grounds.

Nursery

A nursery can be made available for your wedding by reserving it through the church office. The fee schedule is listed below.
