Ash Wednesday - February 22

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten Season, when we as a church begin our seven week journey toward Easter. This year we are having three different services:

• 7:00 am in the Memorial Garden
• Noon in the Memorial Garden
• 7:00 pm in the Chapel

Emmaus Community Gathering

Come join an Emmaus Community Gathering on Thursday, February 23, 7:00 pm, at the First United Methodist Church of Round Rock. The gathering will be in Room 232, Building 5. Remember to wear your lanyards this Sunday in honor of Men’s Walk number

2012 South District Laity Banquet

The 2012 South District Laity Banquet will be at the Frank Mayborn Center, Temple,  Texas, on Tuesday, March 20, at 6:30 pm. Guest speaker is Dr. Ronald L. Swain, Senior Advisor to the President for Strategic Planning, Southwestern University, member of FUMC, Georgetown. Tickets are $12.00 each and include a dinner catered by Johnny’s Steaks and BBQ of Salado. Tickets are available in the church office.
