Wednesday Evenings

sacredspace3The St. Philip’s Academy of Christian Enrichment AKA Sacred S.P.A.C.E. is our weekly Wednesday Night Dinner & Discipleship night when the St. Philip’s community gathers to eat a delicious and H.O.M.E. cooked meal together while enjoying the friendship and fellowship of God’s Church.

After the meal there is a 30-minute worship service and then people have the option of singing in the choir, going to youth, or participating in a topical book and Bible Study.  Studies run about 4-6 weeks, and new ones are always starting up.  You can register on-line or with your Connection Card.  It is our expectation that each active member of St. Philip’s will participate in at least one book and Bible Study each year.  If you are new to St. Philip’s this is the best way to get connected and make new friends in God’s Church.  If St. Philip’s has been your church home for a long time, it is time for you to make some new church friends and discover how God is moving in the lives of people around you.

Some of 2013’s Spring offerings will be Muslims, Christians and Jesus; The Way of Heaven: The Theology of John Wesley; and Jesus: A Theography.

The suggested donation for Sacred SPACE dinner is $5 Adults, Youth, and Children (kids under two (2) eat free). If you are currently experiencing unemployment,  please know that you (and your family’s) dinner is on God’s Church.
